Acorn Dairies
The Tweddle family run an organic farm therefore the welfare of their dairy cows is very important. The milk, cream and butter they produce has a very natural flavour as it goes through only minimal processing.

Bolton Abbey Foods
The Crabtree family have farmed at Bolton Park Farm for over 50 years. They aim to provide the highest quality taste and traceability from the heart of the Yorkshire Dales to your kitchen. All the meat supplied has been either bred or reared on the farm.We've visited the farm and they seem to be very happy and well looked after animals. They supply meat to The Fleece at Addingham and The Angel at Hetton.

Bothams of Whitby
This family run company has been going since 1865. They make the most delicious cakes and biscuits and we stock a small selection. The only problem we've found is once you open a packet of biscuuits they all have to be eaten, in one sitting!

Country Products Limited
A family firm based in Tockwith North Yorkshire. They specialise in packing and manuafcturing our store cupboard items such as dried fruits, porridge oats, nuts and baking powder to name but a few.

Haighs
This award winning company is where we get our cooked meats and black pudding from. Duncan and his mother Doreen run the business from Dalton near Thirsk. Our customers can't get enough of the flash roast ham we stock.

Harrogate Cake Company
Based at Melmerby this company make delicious fruit cakes, tea loaves and ginger cake, using 40 year old Yorkshire recipes. They also produce lovely chocolate.

Harrogate Spa Water
A truly local brand, this company has gone from strength to strength since starting in 2002. The water is sourced from 45m below ground from water-bearing rocks near the centre of town.

Herbs Unlimited
Alison Dodd set up this company at Sandhutton Near Thirsk 17 years ago. Being a former chef she realised the need for a supplier of fresh herbs and salad leaves for the north of England. All produce is grown in Yorkshire when in season otherwise from trusted growers in Spain and Israel

Ian Taylor Free Range Eggs
The family farm at Burton Leonard near Harrogate and started their free range egg business in 1996. The eggs taste fantastic and the yolks are a lovely shade of orange, just like the eggs we used to get from our hens years ago.

Longley Farm
We just love these yoghurts and with so many flavours to choose from its difficult to know where to start. Longley Farm are based in Huddersfield and have been running for over 20 years.

Lottie Shaws Seriously Good Yorkshire Parkin
This is a family recipe that dates back over 100 years. Using ingredients sourced locally where possible plus ginger, oatmeal and treacle this really is delicious. I like mine with a strong cup of tea.

The most delicious and award winning smoked fish, meat and cheeses are provided by this company. They have been in business for 20 years and their range of smoked products has grown throughout the years. Traditional methods of curing and smoking are used with the burning of pure oak to ensure the best natural flavours.

Park Lodge Farm
If you like mushrooms then you'll love this supplier. This is where we get our button and flat mushrooms from, and since we've started using these our mushrooms sales have doubled. They are based at Topcliffe near Thirsk

Pipers Crisps
Using tasty Lincolnshire potatoes, Pipers make delicious crisps with mouthwatering flavours. The flavours are sourced from suppliers who are also passionate about their product. You won't find these crisps in a supermarket though, as they only supply independent outlets.

Raydale Preserves
The Kettlewell family have been running this business for over 30 years and as well as producing delicious preserves they have made it their aim to plough a percentage of their proceeds into maintaining and improving the local landscape in the Leyburn area.

Stamfrey Farm Organic Products
Sue and Angus farm 110 friesian cows on an organic farm at West Rounton and make very indulgent Yorkshire clotted cream, and lovely low fat yoghurt which you can add delicious fruit coulis to. The cream graces the tables in Betty's.

The Farmers Cart
The Farmers Cart at Towthorpe, York is managed by Edward Sykes the son of Farmer Geoff, we buy vegetables and salads from them when in season. Its also well worth a visit and children just love it.

The Gluten Free Kitchen
For those people with coeliac disease, you don't have to miss out on delicious treats, such as cakes, pies and pastries. These recipies are baked for people on restricted diets and are gluten free and wheat free, there are also dairy free recipies and some are even egg free.

The Yorkshire Provender
Based at Melmerby, Ripon this company makes delicious soups using produce as from as local as possible. Ingredients are prepared by hand and you can tell with these soups as they taste homemade. Lovely for a quick easy meal.

Via Vecchia
The long and short of it is, this bread is the best we've ever tasted! Via Vecchia is a bakery on The Shambles in York, but it's very hard to find. Alistair has been going for 18 years now and he generally sells out of his bread by lunchtime every day. We can only deliver this with a Friday delivery as he has a Monday off.

Westerdale Apiaries
Our honey comes from the moorland at Whitby and is just lovely dolloped into porridge or with a bit of natural yoghurt. As well as being a natural product the bees also help with the pollination of oil seed rape, borage, field beans, clover and heather.

Wharfe Valley Farms
Rapeseed oil has the lowest saturated fat of any oil and is also high in Omega 3. For all those of you who are health conscious, this product is for you. It is also suitable for gluten free and vegetarian diets. The rapeseed oil is grown and produced on the family run farm. Its fans even include a few celebrity chefs!

Yockenthwaite Farm Bakery
Based in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, Elizabeth and Stuart Hird make delicious granola cereals. Tried and tested on their B&B guests, who incidentally, love it. The granola is made with freshly milled grains and toasted in Yorkshire honey. Eat as a breakfast cereal with milk, fruit or yoghurt or alternatively as a snack.
